Title:Director of Group Sales & Special Events
We are currently seeking candidates for the Group Sales Manager position at GameTime, a family entertainment center in Daytona Beach, FL.  The ideal candidates will be self-motivated, goal driven and highly capable of handling various aspects of sales. Applicants must have the ability to provide optimum customer satisfaction, selling private events, fundraisers, youth groups and corporate functions, coordinating the sales process including administrative tasks and working with the store Event Coordinator and Banquet staff to ensure the quality experience of every event booked.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must have very good organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast paced working environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette required.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time in order to properly perform the assigned job duties.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Manage account services through follow-up and formal customer feedback inquiries.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.
  • Learn to operate company’s integrated financial reporting/POS system.
  • Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed for events booked.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Responsible for accurate and prompt distribution of event information to the management team and banquet staff to ensure quality experience.
  • Works under the direction of the Home Office and General Manager to increase the client database through networking events, social networking, and outbound phone solicitation.
  • Handles any challenges promptly and to the guest's satisfaction. Refers to Manager, if necessary.
  • Collects all deposits and payments on time and in accordance with company policies.
  • Takes the initiative to develop and improve sales skills, through internal and external sources.
  • Assists in ensuring the maintenance of event archives and all critical information.
  • Faxing, filing, making copies, mailings and other general administrative tasks.
  • Miscellaneous and administrative duties as directed by the Home Office.
